Kajal’s writing has appeared in The Guardian, Stylist, Grazia, The Independent and New Statesman. She has a Masters in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths University where she was shortlisted for the Pat Kavanagh Award. She is the author of DO SOMETHING; ACTIVISM FOR EVERYONE (Hodder and Stoughton, 2019) and HAIR/ POWER: ESSAYS ON CONTROL AND FREEDOM (Ink 404, 2023).
Kajal has taught writing classes including an eight week tailored Writing for Activism course for the writing organization Spread the Word. She is currently working on her debut novel.
